How do we get started?
Every project begins with a complimentary consultation, typically via FaceTime, where we'll discuss your vision, wedding style, venue, inspiration, Pinterest boards, color palette, guest count, and budget.
Following our meeting, I'll prepare a personalized proposal outlining your stationery pieces, pricing, and recommended timeline. We'll refine the proposal together until it perfectly fits your needs.
To reserve your place on my design calendar, a 50% deposit is required.
How does the custom design process work?
Once your project begins, I'll create two original invitation concepts inspired by your wedding vision.
Together we'll refine your favorite elements through collaborative revisions until every detail feels uniquely yours. Whether your style is timeless and traditional or modern and unexpected, I'll guide you through wording, etiquette, paper selections, printing techniques, and finishing details.
How many revisions are included?
Custom invitation packages include collaborative design revisions throughout the creative process.
You'll receive digital proofs along the way, giving you the opportunity to review every detail before anything goes to print.
Can you help with invitation wording and etiquette?
Absolutely. Wedding invitation etiquette can feel overwhelming, but I'll guide you through wording, guest addressing, suite organization, RSVP etiquette, postage requirements, and mailing timelines to ensure everything is beautifully presented and etiquette-appropriate.
What printing methods do you offer?
I work with trusted print partners to offer a variety of premium printing methods, including:

Together we'll select the printing process that best complements your design, style, and budget.
Can you create custom artwork?
Yes! Every custom invitation suite includes original artwork created exclusively for your event.

Do you offer envelope addressing?
Yes. Every envelope is professionally designed to coordinate with your invitation suite and can include:
- Guest addressing
- Return addressing
- RSVP envelope printing
No hand-addressing required.
Do you offer invitation assembly and mailing?
Yes! My White Glove Mailing Service allows you to check one more item off your wedding to-do list.
I can professionally:
- Assemble each invitation suite
- Apply wax seals and embellishments
- Coordinate USPS postage
- Prepare invitations for mailing
- Mail directly to your guests
Prior to mailing, you'll receive photographs of your completed invitations for your records.
Once invitations have been accepted by USPS, responsibility for delivery transfers to the postal service. While every invitation is carefully prepared to meet USPS requirements, Initial Offerings cannot be responsible for postal delays, damage, or items lost in transit.
How much should I budget?
Every wedding is unique, but most couples invest between $2,000 and $8,000 for custom wedding invitations and coordinating stationery.

Custom wedding invitation collections begin at $2,500.
Corporate and social stationery projects generally begin around $300.
How long does the process take?
Corporate & Social Stationery: Most projects are completed within 2–4 weeks.
Fully Custom Wedding Invitations: Custom invitation suites generally require 6-8 weeks, depending on design complexity, specialty printing, embellishments, and approval timelines.
For the best experience, I recommend beginning your invitation process 10 months before your wedding.

Every piece is designed to coordinate beautifully with your invitation suite.
When will my order ship?
Online stationery orders typically ship within 5–7 business days, unless otherwise noted.
Custom invitation orders follow the production timeline established during your project and ship once final proofs have been approved and production is complete.
What shipping methods do you use?
Most orders ship via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground, and tracking information is provided once your order ships.
White Glove Wedding related items (Save the Dates, Wedding Invitations, Rehearsal Dinner invitations are sent via United States Postal Service.
Expedited shipping may be available upon request.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, Initial Offerings ships within the United States. With the exception of international wedding related mailings via United States Postal Service.
If you're located outside the U.S., please contact me before placing your order. I'll be happy to discuss available options.
What is your return policy?
Because every invitation and personalized item is custom-made, all sales are final.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order is damaged during shipping, please contact me within 5 days of delivery.
To expedite a replacement, please include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the damage
- Photos of both the damaged item and packaging
Whenever possible, damaged items will be replaced with the same item at no additional cost.
Approved replacement orders are typically processed within one business day.
